Every week, I post a list of internships available to all Comm Arts Majors! If you are actively searching for an internship, go back and read a few of my previous posts because chances are some of the application deadlines haven’t passed yet. “The summer 2014 Global News Internship is a paid, highly selective, 12-week individually tailored training program for students who are aspiring cross-format journalists. Interns must have experience and/or training in video and one other format. They will contribute to AP’s text, video, photo and interactive reporting.” Deadline to apply is the first week of January.
“The Reuters Journalism Program offers nine months of hands-on, real-world experience with competitive pay in New York, London and Asia.” Deadline to apply is December 15.
The Los Angeles Times “offer 10 weeks of intensive, hands-on experience in a region where big stories are the norm.” Deadline to apply is January 1.
The Google Journalism Fellowship is “aimed at undergraduate, graduate and journalism students interested in using technology to tell stories in new and dynamic ways.” Deadline to apply is the end of January.
The Chicago Tribune’s “newsroom internship program seeks college juniors, seniors and graduate students for 12-week paid internships.” Deadline to apply is December 1.
“The San Francisco Chronicle’s paid internship program is designed for upper-level students enrolled in accredited four-year colleges, currently enrolled graduate students and graduates during the 2013-2014 academic year. Internships provide realistic on-the-job training.” Deadline to apply is December 30.
