Falling for autumn

Fall is always the most vibrant, photogenic season. The world is covered with the amber and crimson hues of fallen leaves. At Marywood, this stunning sensation is even more present, as the campus is a certified arboretum.

What is an arboretum? According to the university, it is “a place where trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants are cultivated for scientific, educational and/or aesthetic purposes.” The campus boasts more than 40 species of trees, which makes for a seemingly infinite amount of brilliant colors during beautiful autumn.
