Winding Down

This week, TVM celebrated it’s last broadcast of the semester! It is difficult for me to believe that we completed our first semester in our new studio, but I am very excited for everything the fall semester holds for us! I am extremely grateful for the hard work of my cast and crew, especially as we learned the ropes of our new home.

Taking the role of News Director has not been without its challenges this semester. The biggest and most obvious challenge being the move to our new studio and thus training everyone all over again. Finding the time to edit and compile scripts was also tricky given that Broadcasts were on a Wednesday this year and I spent Tuesdays in class from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

However, my talented team of anchors and technical crew made this entire semester possible, and I am eternally grateful to them for that. Congratulations on a wonderful first semester in our new studio, TVM News! Make sure to tune in when we return in the fall but in the meantime be sure to check out our youtube channel!
